Owning and operating my own business has always been a goal of mine. I started working on cars over 35 years ago and started my own business shortly after.

Over the years the automotive repair industry has changed greatly, that's why we pride ourselves with constant schooling and latest equipment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Working closely together with my wife Kathy, our goal is to be your automotive repair shop.

My whole life I have known nothing but growing up and working in a family owned business. My parents owned a restaurant and when I married Mike 30 years ago he had been working in the automotive industry and was about to start his own business.

Throughout the years we have been able to grow our business from a one man shop to a 3 service bay operation.

My parents taught us well, treat people the way you want to be treated and they will keep on coming back. Our philosophy is just that simple! "Its our family taking care of yours"

Working with automobiles has always been a passion with me. I first started out working on vintage race cars when I was 19 years old. This gave me the opportunity to not only know the in's and out's of working with classic automobiles, but to also, at the end of that part of my career, to run and orchestrate an entire race vintage car team.

This lead me to the next phase of my life (now with a wife and 2 children) to Kusch's Automotive to become a part of a family owned business. I started working in the back as an auto tech and now do the servicing writing. My knowledge of cars and working with people make this a perfect fit for me. I look forward to servicing all of your needs here at Kusch's Automotive!

I have been working in the automotive industry for the past 21 years. My background consists of working for some of the larger dealerships in the Milwaukee area.

Coming to work for Mike and Kathy has given me the opportunity to work in a family owned and operated environment - which allows me to focus more on the customer service end of the business.

What a difference a family owned business makes! Now I have the time to enjoy riding my horses, going out to dinner, and spending time with my husband.

I started working on cars at the age of 14 with my father. My first tech job was in the foreign car industry. After that I was in fleet repair for 28 years. I have taken classes at manufacturing schools for Ford, Dodge, GM, Caterpiller, Cummins, and Allison to name a few. I continue to take classes to keep up with the advancement of my job. After all these years I still enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of the job.

Check out the Wisconsin DMV site regarding emission testing: CLICK HERE

Vehicles require an emission test every other year before license plate renewal, beginning in the third year following the vehicle's model year. (For example, model year 2008 vehicles first require a test in 2011.) Renewal notices will indicate if a test is due (see sample renewal notice).
The vehicle must pass the emission test before registration renewal. Failure to pass the test prevents issuance of the annual plate sticker, which makes the vehicle illegal to operate after the registration (plate) expires. If you mailed your renewal without the passing the emission test, take your vehicle to one of the test stations. DMV will automatically receive the successful test information and issue the registration and sticker. Your registration and stickers should arrive within a week to 10 days.
